With white cherry on the nose, this unique Italian varietal has plentiful notes of violet, herbs, plum, bitter chocolate, nutmeg, dried cherry mixed up with some turned earth. The assertive tannins give a punch to the palate which can be softened with aged pecorino or chocolate soufflé.
